“We are a research group of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) that aims to analyze the principles, models and techniques that favor change in behavior through technology; both on an individual and public health scale.

We work on the design, implementation and evaluation of interventions, analyzing their ability to produce changes in the behavior of individuals, groups and populations. Among our research topics, we highlight the evaluation of the ability of mobile applications to achieve behavioral changes, the use of behavioral design techniques for health literacy in adolescents, and the use of ICT for therapeutic adherence.

Participates in public health interventions and health and social policies, in topics such as: therapeutic adherence, environmental sustainability, literacy in adolescent health and the acquisition of healthy habits, among others.

Since 2003 we have been working on digital health through the recognized PSiNET-Psychology, Health and Internet  group (SGR197-2009, SGR858-2014, SGR239-2017) which has become our current group to specialize in behavioral design.
