We promote the transference of the results of our research through two pathways:
1. To businesses and institutions, public and private.
2. To society as a whole.
We contribute to the blog Psychology 2.0 and mHealth in Investigation and Science with the objective of reflecting on the way ICT has changed our life and our personal relationships, the role it plays in our way of dealing with illness and the acquisition of healthy habits, and the incorporation of ICT in professional practice.
We regularly participate as experts on different news media — such as RTVE, TV3, 8TV, Catalunya Ràdio, la Xarxa, El País, La Vanguardia and El Periódico, among others. We contribute our knowledge about health aspects related to the use and abuse of ICT, such as the use of Whatsapp, the selfies fashion; and disorders like nomophobia, or irrational fear of leaving home without a mobile phone; the Google effect, or how Internet affects our memory capacity; and FOMO (Fear of Missing Out), or anxiety produced by the fear of missing some social interaction or new experience. Consult PSiNET in the media to see some examples.
